Lateral packer is moved into position using camera.
The packer is rotated and the lateral element is inflated up the service line, past the first joint connection.
The packer is inflated, sealing the annular area. Grout is injected.
As the grout fills the annular area it is forced out through all open areas and into the surrounding soil, creating an impermeable sand and gel ring outside the pipe and service connection.
The lateral element is deflated and pulled back into the lateral packer, scraping any excess gel from the service line.
The lateral packer elements are deflated once the lateral element has fully retracted. The packer is pulled back, scraping excess gel from the pipe leaving a fully open pipe without any reduced flow capacity.
