AV-280 is Hydrophobic and does not require the addition of water. Mix one pint bottle (16 oz.) of AV-281 Hydrocel. One 16 oz. bottle of AV-281 Hydrocel is supplied with each 5 gallon pail of AV-280.
Slowly pour the pint of AV-281 Hydrocel catalyst into the 5-gallon pail of AV-280 Hydrofoam while slowly stirring for 3 to 5 minutes. The ideal temperature for mixing catalyst is between 65°F and 85°F. Do not allow moisture to penetrate the mixing pail. For faster set times add more AV-281 Hydrocel.

Store AV-280 Hydrofoam and AV-281 Hydrocel between 60°-85°F (16°-30°C). This product is packaged under dry nitrogen to extend shelf life.

Product should be used only in well ventilated areas in order to keep the vapor concentration low. Eye contact and repeated skin contact should be avoided. Normal protective clothing such as gloves and goggles are recommended. A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn in confined spaces where there is little ventilation and vapors are likely to be high.

Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Get immediate medical attention.
Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, get medical attention.
Ingestion: Drink 2 glasses of water. Call a physician
Note: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. |
