AV-275 Soilgrout is a MDI-based, low viscosity, single component, hydrophobic polyurethane liquid designed to penetrate certain soils and bind these soils together to form a dense mass which may attain high compressive strengths. When this grouting compound is pumped into certain soils, it reacts with little or no moisture and expands to make a permanent and impermeable mass which will not allow water to pass through it. High tolerance to UV rays.

AV-275 Soilgrout reacts with the water to create its hydrophobic reaction; therefore, it is desirable, but not necessary that the crack be actively leaking when the material is injected. Since "dry" concrete does not contain moisture, the material will set up without active water, but the set time will typically be longer.
