AV-257 Icoset shrink-control agent is a water-based emulsion used with acrylamide, acrylic and urethane gel grouts including AV-100, AV-118, AV-254, and AV-350 chemical grouts. It provides protection against shrinkage and improves the strength of the gel. It is compatible with a wide variety of compounding additives and has good mechanical stability. In addition, it provides the cured material with improved hydrostatic pressure resistance, better low temperature flexibility, and enhanced resistance to solvents and chemicals. AV-257 does not contain any organic solvents.
